Voicemail

I'm sharing this tip because not very many people know about it, but it is a TREMENDOUS tool for working more efficiently.  Please share it with other people you know, or on your Facebook page. The problem comes about when you are unable to answer your phone for several hours or longer, and then see you have 15 (or 50 or 100!) voicemail messages.  You know that three of them are probably important, but you have to listen to all of them to find the important ones.  There's an app for that! All cell phone carriers have a service called Visual Voicemail. It costs from $2 to $5 a month, depending on your carrier. With the service, your phone shows you a list of all your voicemail messages.  If the caller is in your contact list, it shows their name. If not, then it shows the phone number. You can see the date and time of the message, and the message length, in seconds.  It is similar to looking at a list of your emails, or your text messages. With the app, you can pick and choose among your voicemail messages, and decide which ones you want to hear first, second, etc.. You just tap a message notice, and that is the one you hear. You can also write a note on the notice, regarding the contents of the message, a follow-up instruction, or anything at all. I HIGHLY recommend getting this service. I've been using mine for about a year now, and don't know how I ever survived without it.
